Like its younger sibling, Fritz 13' does still occasionally misbehave, but it doesnt freeze up, hesitate, or give me blinking screens, disappearing clocks, and Not Responding messages anywhere near as often. Definitely one of the most powerful, although not completely accessible, chess programs ever made. I believe the Chessify Cloud service is great for professional or aspiring players as well as the chess fanatics eager to analyze with the hardware that only the very best allow themselves to use. Although the game is more or less a "no frills" chess program with limited options, it does have an intuitive mouse-based interface, crisp graphics, and plenty of historical playing books you can use. Chessify is the perfect option if you want to be able to work with the strongest chess engines, have premium service, and dont like settling for the second-best.
It is a very tough chess opponent that rarely makes 'mistakes.' I am not a good enough chess player to vouch for its AI, but I asked a friend who was a New England champion at one point and he said it definitely plays much better chess than most programs - and probably was the best in 1993, when it was released. Even in this early incarnation, released by ChessBase in 1993 to a limited number of retail channels, you can already see how powerful Fritz is.
On top of the board are the 32 chess pieces. You will see that the right-most corner will always be white. This makes 64 squares of alternating light and dark colors. This includes the initial setup of chess wherein a square board is divided into an eight-by-eight board. Fritz 13 is not as strong as the aforementioned computer chess programs, however Fritz 13 offers a variety of training programs focused on opening mastery, tactical awareness, and endgame technique.

This is the early version of Deep Fritz 8, the program that tied 2:2 in an exciting match with world champion Garry Kasparov. Free Chess is a single-player, strategy game that follows the laws of chess. Fritz 13 is definitely one of the best computer chess programs on the market, because it is much more accessible to the average player. Fritz 2.00 is a great program that is currently the most powerful artificial chess player in the world.
